Alan Cumming—star of Cabaret whose tight pants and fine acting prompted Shia LaBeouf to grab his ass is the middle of the show—offered his side of the story last night on Conan.
Basically, it’s exactly what you’d expect: a super drunk guy disrupted the show, and it was pretty annoying. It just happened to be that the drunk guy was a famous person on an all-time bender.
Cumming might actually be a little too understanding; he basically says “hey, we’ve all been there, am I right?” Um, have we? So drunk that we go to Cabaret by ourselves and start groping the actors? That seems a little over the top.
