The St. Louis County police officer who pushed CNN anchor Don Lemon on camera in Ferguson, Mo. and was suspended after a video of him making hateful comments was exposed is retiring.

In addition to pushing Lemon, footage of Dan Page making disparaging remarks about African-Americas, gays in the military and Muslims surfaced, leading to his suspension. According to MSNBC, not only is Page—who has 35 years worth of law enforcement experience—simply stepping away from his career, he's receiving all of his benefits:

Sergeant Colby Dolly, aid to the St. Louis County Police Chief, told msnbc by phone that Page is expected to receive his full pension.

MSNBC adds that Aug. 25 was Page's last day.
