A bunch of kids in New Zealand came home with penis-shaped gummies, and their parents are understandably pissed. The Stoke confectionery company imported 7,200 of the offending bags of candy from China, where there was a mix-up that caused phallic gummies to be packaged with Dragon Sweets.

"You have to look at it two or three times to think that doesn't look right," a spokesman for the company said. "It won't happen again."

At least in New Zealand. Apparently dick candy isn't that big of a deal in China. The shape is seen there as a sign of fertility and health. "They wouldn't even blink an eyelid," the spokesman said. "We see it as offensive. We don't mind a hand or a foot being part of a lolly, but we object to a breast or a penis."
