It should be no surprise that there will be a red carpet at Joan Rivers' funeral. Many of her famous friends will no doubt turn out, and after they take a walk down the iconic runway, the red carpet will be buried with Rivers. In her 2012 book I Hate Everyone...Starting With Me, Rivers wrote that she wanted her funeral to be "a huge showbiz affair...Hollywood all the way."
We doubt legendary jeweler Harry Winston will actually make her a diamond toe tag, as requested, but maybe Meryl Street really will show up. The comedienne died Thursday at the age of 81; her funeral will be at the Temple Emanu-El tomorrow, September 7.
