Zack Snyder is finding new and interesting ways to piss off fans. Because casting Ben Affleck as Batman wasn’t enough, he’s decided to troll fans.
Hard at work on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Snyder has been releasing photos of the movie, and over the weekend he released the one above where you see Batman and R2-D2 going for a stroll. He captioned it: "BATMAN & R2BIN." Fans immediately freaked out about a possible Star Wars crossover. ZOMG!
Except it wasn't what it looked like. One good-looking set photographer exposed Snyder's troll with a picture of his own revealing that Batman and R2 were action figures.
Snyder has already seen how pissed off fans react i.e. the Batfleck Batlash, but it looks like he'll keep toying (Get it?) with their emotions.
