Hollywood doesn't wait long for reboots these days. Superman was brought back after seven years. Spiderman, five. And now word has it that an Underworld revival is in the works, just two years after the last film. Apparently Kate Beckinsale's nine-year run wasn't enough.
THR has confirmed Cory Goodman, who has all of two films under his belt, has been hired to write a script for the reboot. Perhaps Lakeshore Entertainment hired a relative unknown to go along with the fact that we have absolutely no clue why this needs to happen.
What we do know is that this quick-on-the-draw, money-hungry trend needs to stop.
