You may know Patrick Wharburton as David Puddy on Seinfeld, but remember The Tick? Sort of? The superhero parody comic book show aired for one season on Fox in late 2001 (the animated version enjoyed three seasons). It was apparently critically acclaimed, though, and since Amazon is trying to get in the TV game, it's announced plans to revive the show.
People is reporting the deal, though there are few details. Ben Edlund, the man behind The Tick comics, is also on board to produce and write the show.
