Two double-decker buses collided in New York City this afternoon, leaving at least 14 people injured.

According to the Associated Press, the accident took place this afternoon in Times Square. Noting that it's still unclear what caused the crash, NBC New York adds that the buses struck each other near the well-known TKTS booth.

Thirteen of the 14 people injured were passengers, and NBC New York reports that neither bus driver was injured. Each victim was treated at the scene, and an FDNY spokesperson told NBC New York that they are "very fortunate there weren't many more injuries."
