A jogger made the eerie discovery of a skeleton clad in "a Brooklyn Nets hat, a T-shirt, goggles and sweatpants" in a Brooklyn park yesterday, and now police are looking into what this True Detective-esque clue could mean.
NBC New York reports that Kate Steciw came across the scene while jogging through Prospect Park. Furthermore, off in the background of the arrangement is an American flag. Steciw told NBC New York that she quickly began to feel uneasy after taking a picture "because it looked so, so real." This made it a struggle to describe the discovery to the NYPD.
Police aren't treating this as a crime, but they eventually gathered the bones and will conduct tests to determine whether or not they're part of some bizarre art display. What is it? What does it mean? The unanswered questions remain.
