Ghostbusters 3 has been in the works for a while (at least on paper, if not in reality) and it seems producers are zeroing in on a director: Bridesmaids' Paul Feig. Feig also directed many episodes of The Office. Ivan Reitman, who directed the first two comedies, was originally on board to direct -- he backed out in March. The script was written by The Office writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, but had to be revised after original castmember (and writer) Harold Ramis died earlier this year.
The three-quel will reportedly focus on female ghostbusters, which we hope can only mean one thing: KRISTEN WIIG. Dan Akyroyd is already on board but as usual there is no word from Bill Murray. Can this please, please happen?
