There’s a reason that Donald Glover always wore Spider-Man pajamas on Community. The Internet loved Donald and desperately wanted him to be the next Spider-Man, and now it appears they’re kind of getting their wish.
Glover will voice Miles Morales, the half-Hispanic, half-black parallel universe version of Spider-Man on Disney’s animated Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors series. So, that’s basically a lead role in a huge blockbuster movie, right?
“I don't think it's hit me necessarily yet how big of a deal that is,” Glover said. “I’m very grateful for that, and it's cool to read the comic now.”
OK, so this is a decent start. But let’s get real. If they’re really going to make a The Amazing Spider-Man 3, they need Glover to star.
