Everybody loves Benedict Cumberbatch. It’s a law as constant as gravity. This performance, though, is next level.
While it’s tough to love Jar-Jar, it’s easy to love Sherlock’s work here, and his impression of everyone’s favorite ring-hoarding schizophrenic, Gollum, is equally impressive.
If this is any indication of the quality we could expect, we’d totally be into a half hour show comprised purely of Cumberbatch rattling off imitations of any movie character he can think of. NBC, are you listening? This is how you solve a ratings problem.
