Worldwide, Tinder is the go-to get-laid app singles are using to find a night of fun. The popular mobile dating app is known for linking two people based on whether or not they swiped right for each other. So, it should come as no surprise that the core of the app is essentially whether or not you want to get it on with the person you swiped for.

Inevitably, when you have a mobile app driven by sexual desire there's a chance you may encounter similar troubles in-house from time to time. Tinder is no exception as a former marketing executive is currently suing the app on the basis of sexual harassment and discrimination. Whitney Wolfe, Tinder’s former Marketing Vice President claims that she was subjected to a pattern of abusive behavior including inappropriate private messages from a company Co-Founder while working at Tinder.

Wolfe states in the suit that app Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer Justin Mateen stripped her of her Co-Founder title because having a "24-year-old girl" as a Co-Founder made the company "seem like a joke". Wolfe goes on to say that Mateen called her a “whore” in front of Tinder Chief Executive Officer Sean Rad.

As of now, the claims are allegations and have not been confirmed. However, as the technology industry has been known to have a lack of women with titles, it may not be that shocking if the claims turned out to be true. Wolfe did not want to make the matter public stating, “I had hoped this would be resolved confidentially, but after months of failed attempts I have decided to pursue this suit.”
