This Seattle couple should be at least a little bit relieved that the destruction at their condo can be attributed to a meth tweeker as opposed to paranormal activity.

When Brian and Bridget O'Neill returned to their condo Jul. 9, they found their home in a complete disarray. Or, as Bridget O'Neill told Vocativ, it was "trashed." Brian O'Neill called the police, who were unable to locate any sign of theft or incriminating fingerprints. However, they did discover a purse, containing a 27-year-old woman's identification.

Just as police were about to leave, they heard a sound which resembled "a dying possum or raccoon." Authorities found the monster (described as 5'7" and roughly 90 pounds) beneath the couple's bed, where she spent at least two hours slicing through the boxspring with a knife, in addition to making alarming noises.

Police say the woman scaled the tree, accessed the home through a window, then sought refuge under the bed during a fit of paranoia triggered by a meth bender.
