Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the most electrifying man in the entertainment biz these days. Last year he singlehandedly crushed the box office leading franchises G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Fast & Furious 6, and other money-raking movies like Pain & Gain and Snitch.
Now "The Rock" might be leading yet another action franchise, The Janson Directive, currently being likened to the popular Jason Bourne series.
Without getting too much into detail, the book’s protagonist is an ex-consular ops agent who leaves his post and becomes a private security consultant to help the less fortunate. Did we mention he teams up with a sharpshooter?
If Johnson does sign on to the film he will also be producing. Audiences can see Johnson in Hercules when it hits theaters later this month.
