Sean Bean is back on TV, this time starring as a spy on "Legends." Hopefully, he doesn't die in the first episode.

Sean Bean has played all manner of roles on screen, and one of our personal favorites is Sean-Bean-as-dashing-spy, as he was in the first scene of the James Bond movie Goldeneye. Thanks to TNT, we’ll get to see him back in action as a spy in the new show Legends, which stars Bean as Martin Odum, a deep cover agent who begins to have issues figuring out where his various cover aliases end and the real Odum begins.

Ali Larter and Morris Chestnut co-star, and we even get to see Bean do a whole bunch of “tough talking” when he’s got his gun pointed at someone. Classic spy stuff. The show premieres on TNT on August 13.

Here’s hoping Odum meets a better fate than Ned Stark, or really pretty much every character Bean has ever played.
