Just a day after first year performer Brooks Wheelan was dismissed, Saturday Night Live continued their house cleaning by firing two more cast members: Noel Wells and John Milhiser.
In addition, Nasim Pedrad was confirmed to be departing the show due to her role on the upcoming Fox comedy Mulaney. While that one was not a shocker, it’s another blow to a rapidly-shrinking cast as the show approaches its 40th season.
Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, Colin Jost, Sasheer Zamata, and Mike O'Brien are the only ones still standing from last season’s rookie class, and even not all of them may make it. All are on one year contracts, and the show is expected to take another couple of weeks to make final decisions on their fate.
