Complex has teamed up with brand agency Team Epiphany for the highly-anticipated #SUMMERFRIDAYS event series, which kicked off with a "Caribbean Carnival" on Friday, July 11th.
The event attracted over 500 partygoers, and was held on the private veranda at Hudson Terrace in NYC. The crowd of local tastemakers, influencers, and celebrities spent the Friday afternoon laughing with friends and dancing to the sounds of the Caribbean with sets by DJ Wonder and DJ Max Glazer. Photographer William Yan gifted stylish attendees with new JBL headphones, while Chevy encouraged guests to enter to win a chauffeured ride in a new Chevy truck to anywhere in the 5 boroughs. Midway through the event, guests were surprised with a Caribbean Carnival dance troupe that entertained and interacted with the crowd, adding authenticity to the event's theme. Guests also enjoyed complimentary Hennessy and Belvedere signature cocktails, ice-cold Heineken, and mini Evian water bottles, as well as Caribbean cuisine from the famous Miss Lily's.
