A yoga-loving woman was arrested in Florida this week for stripping to do yoga in a roadway, thus alerting police to the heroin she had in her running vehicle.
The Smoking Gun reports that 51-year-old Michele Cernak was arrested on Wednesday in Ocala, Fla. after police were summoned regarding a drunk woman who was removing her clothes in the street. Witnesses told authorities that Cernak, who had her pants around her ankles, had taken to doing yoga near her vehicle, which she had left running.
A quick sweep of the vehicle produced heroin and assorted drug paraphernalia, and when Cernak was prodded for information about the open wound on her ankle, she finally admitted that had been shooting heroin. She was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
