People are really enjoying the new HBO series The Leftovers, starring Justin Theroux, Liv Tyler, and many others. Something seems to have grabbed a lot of America’s attention, however, that has nothing to do with the acting on the show; it’s a certain bulge in Theroux’s sweatpants that made a brief appearance while he was out for a jog in the pilot episode, and it has quickly become the hot topic of conversation around all corners of the Internet.
You can count Tyler among those who have noticed.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Tyler was asked about this popular topic du jour, and her response did not disappoint. “There was this scene where he was jogging,” she told host Andy Cohen, “and there was quite a large bulge in his sweatpants and it was all over.”
She went on to comment that “I get distracted when I watch the pilot, definitely. I'm like, ‘Can't help but look there.’ But I've never noticed the bulge other times.”
And so the never-ending saga of the bulge continues. Honestly, though, Theroux can't hate this kind of positive attention.
