The 4th of July isn't until tomorrow, but fireworks already started poppin' off in the sky in New York City last night.
Video footage captured by Dinesh Penugonda, shows the heavens briefly opening up, allowing lightning to strike a building. A roar of thunder follows while ominous clouds hang above.
It's cinematic, frightening, and alluring at the same time.
