Lightning Kills Rocky Mountain National Park Visitor for Second Consecutive Day

A person was killed by lightning at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado yesterday, marking the second consecutive day a visitor died in that fashion. 

According to the Associated Press, Kyle Patterson, spokeswoman for the park, four people were struck by lightning on Trail Ridge Road yesterday afternoon. All four victims were hospitalized, but one man succumbed to his injuries. 

This comes after Rebecca R. Teilhet, 42, was killed and seven others were injured near Trail Ridge on Friday afternoon.
