It’s been months since Quentin Tarantino’s script for the Hateful Eight leaked and he seems to have gotten over the debacle since he’s moving forward with the film.

The filmmaker had previously hinted he was scrapping the project after the script leak, but there was a glimmer of hope in April when he hosted a live reading of the script with Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, and Kurt Russell, to name a few.

Russell just revealed in an interview that the Hateful Eight might start shooting early next year.

This matches up with what Tarantino said shortly after the script leak happened:

“I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn’t mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now."

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Until then, we'll be crossing our fingers.
