2K Games has announced that John Cena will be gracing the cover of WWE 2K15 as the cover athlete for this year's installment of the wrestling franchise.

This will be the first time as cover athlete for the wrestling and action film star. Considering how big of a massive franchise WWE 2K is Cena is understandbly pumped about the decision.

“It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as the WWE 2K15 cover Superstar,” said Cena. “2K has a tremendous history of sports simulation games and cover athletes, including Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant, LeBron James and of course, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. I look forward to carrying the flag for WWE 2K15 and introducing the incredible next-generation of WWE gaming to the WWE Universe.”

WWE 2K15 drops this October for all consoles and PC.
