Jake Gyllenhaal can do no wrong these days. See: his stellar performance in psychological thriller Enemy, his perfectly coiffed hair in Prisoners, and now his role in Nightcrawler, which just released a trailer.
Dan Gilroy’s Nightcrawler stars Gyllenhaal as Lou Bloom, an unemployed young guy with a strong work ethic who finds a niche in covering L.A.’s crime journalism.
It’s all good until his life starts spiraling out and his work catches up to him.
Nightcrawler will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September before it hits theaters Oct. 17.
