Mark Wahlberg has been crushing action movies lately, scoring huge box office hits in the last year with Transformers: Age of Extinction and Lone Survivor. He’s got plenty of projects in the works as well, and there’s now one more you can add to the list: The Six Million Dollar Man.
The reboot of the classic TV show has been in the works for a while, with Universal and Harvey Weinstein both holding part of the rights. It appears Peter Berg is on board to produce (and maybe direct), and he wants his Lone Survivor star Wahlberg to join him.
Given that it would probably cost more than $6 million to make a bionic man in 2014, they might need a new title. Plus, they’ll need to figure out some explanation as to why the Six Million Dollar Man has a thick Boston accent.
