On the heels of confirming at Comic-Con that he is indeed making The Hateful Eight, director Quentin Tarantino today unveiled the first poster for the film. It can be seen above, and employs the classic blood splattering that seems to finds its way into all of his promotional materials.
The movie will be released sometime next year, although the only actor officially cast is Kurt Russell. Numerous other Tarantino favorites like Tim Roth, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael Madsen are rumored to be involved, and certainly confirmation of the other members of the titular “eight” will be emerging in the coming weeks and months ahead.
For now, though, let’s just be excited that it is happening at all.
