If you live on the East Coast of United States, you may know we're in for some rainy weather this afternoon and evening. But New York thunderstorms are nothing compared to the giant-sized hail recorded falling in Novosibirsk, Russia. In just a few seconds, the sky changes from pleasantly sunny to ominously cloudy, before enormous balls of ice begin falling from the sky.
Watch the scene play out for yourself above—it's as beautifully surreal as it is terrifying. Fortunately, no one was believed to have been seriously injured during the storm.
