Fans of the Fire Emblem series received a major gift today from Nintendo. The publishers of Super Smash Bros. announced that the series' next title for the Wii U and 3DS will feature Lucina and Robin, each known for their appearances in the popular tactical RPG franchise, Fire Emblem. Chrom, another popular character from the game, made a cameo in the reveal video, but it is unclear whether he is an official addition to Super Smash Bros.
Along with the news of their respective appearances, it was also shown that Captain Falcon will be returning to the series, dishing out his trademark "Falcon Punch". Additionally, Nintendo also announced that gamers would have the option of playing as either male Robin or female Robin during the game.
