Over the weekend, a woman was shot in the leg during a Pennsylvania gun show demonstration for a concealed-carry wallet holster.

Vendor Geoffrey Hawk, 44, was representing In Case of Emergency Enterprises at the Eagle Arms Gun Show in Bloomsburg, Pa. on Saturday. He told authorities he had completed the demonstration 20 times without the gun firing. The Associated Press adds that Hawk told police he had left the gun out while running background checks for customers, suspecting that someone may have loaded it during that time.

The victim, 25-year-old Krista Gearheart, sustained a wound to her thigh. She was released from Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. after receiving treatment.

The event's organizer, Joel Koehler, told the Associated Press that the shooting was the very first at any of his events. Meanwhile, the Columbia County district attorney's office is still trying to figure out if Hawk will be charged.
