Your prayers to the Nerd Gods have been answered. An all new Sailor Moon is coming out, fo' free, on Hulu.
Sailor Moon Crystal retells the story of the much beloved Usagi, a clutz and a crybaby, finding her true self and transforming into the ass-kicking Sailor Moon. The Pretty Sailor Guardian of love and Justice has to find her fellow Guardians, protect a princess, keep the Legendary Silver Crystal away from the evil Queen Beryl, and pass math class all at the same time.
For those unfamiliar with Sailor Moon, it's like if the Spice Girls combined with Charlie's Angels and Kill Bill, except the Sailor Scouts take orders from an adorable black cat instead of a man. If that sounds lame to you, you're probably just sexist.
The first episode drops July 5, 6:00 a.m. EST, on Hulu. New episodes launch the first and third Saturday of every month.
