Marvel’s Ant-Man directing carousel continues as The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that both Peyton Reed (Yes Man) and David Wain (Wanderlust) are being eyed to take over the troubled production. Reed is a comedy veteran, having worked with the likes of Vince Vaughn and Jim Carey during his career. Meanwhile, Wain has experience with Ant-Man lead Paul Rudd in Wanderlust and Role Models.
Both directors are well-equipped to handle the material, but with the movie ready to start shooting within the next few weeks, there won’t be much time for either man to put their own personal stamp on the film. Either way, expect an official announcement soon as Marvel needs to get this film underway to meet its July 2015 release date.
