The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game series not even Obama can get out of talking about, started out 2014 as the most anticipated game of the year. However after being delayed the open-world adventure has finally nailed down a released date. Players will take out the White Wolf to do battle against supernatural beasts on February 24, 2015.

That is a long wait. In the mean time however watch this stunning trailer over and over and check out the deal with Good Old Games (GOG). GOG currently sells the other Witcher titles in digital forms and has a special relationship with game developers CD Projekt Red.

A special edition of Wild Hunt will be sold digital rights management (DRM) free from the site and will also include some bonuses to pre-order customers. GOG is also offering a discount to gamers who already own the other Witcher games. Check out the details here and stay locked to this space as more new of Wild Hunt is set to drop next week.

DRM free games have gained favor with gamers who don't like to deal with big brother-like services such as Ubisoft's Uplay or Electronic Arts Origin. In which players must log into each time they wish to play a game whether they're playing online or not.
