If the goal for the final trailer of Dawn of the Planet of the Apeswas making us feel ashamed of being human, well…they succeeded.
It seems like Caesar the ape and Jason Clarke the human are the only ones who realize how destructive and avoidable a war is between the two groups. Unfortunately, they also appear to be the only two reasonable people in this entire movie.
We’re already looking forward to some good old fashioned ape vengeance on trigger-happy Gary Oldman for starting this entire mess. And there’s also a mean ape who accuses Caesar of loving humans more than apes, which is just a low blow.
This is the final glimpse we’ll have into the movie before it hits theaters on July 11, so savor it.
