Lena Dunham has launched her own Twitter war against NBC, #StopTheStigma, over their refusal to air an ad that contains abortion. The ad in question belongs to actress/comedian Jenny Slate's new film, Obvious Child, a romantic comedy that follows a woman who debates how to move on with her life after getting pregnant during a one-night stand.

"NBC refuses to air the trailer for Obvious Child because it mentions abortion and that's not okay. #StopTheStigma," Dunham tweeted, and linked to a Planned Parenthood petition which to urge NBC to "clarify its standards."

NBC's issued a statement, "No final spots were submitted to NBC broadcast standards," but Dunham and others still believe that NBC is abusing their rights to censor commercial content.
