Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill: Volume 2 is a classic homage to old-school martial arts films, showcasing Uma Thurman's character, Beatrix Kiddo, as she tears through a deadly squad of trained assassins in a gory quest for revenge. Tragically, this blood-and-guts thriller was never made into a video game, even though the material is ripe for adaptation.

However, the Cinefix team has managed to come up with the next best thing, as they've created an 8-bit video that re-imagines all of the iconic scenes from Volume 2 and renders them in graphic, pixelated detail. Funnily enough, their re-creation ends up looking exactly like Hotline Miami.

If you'll recall, Cinefix is the same crew that put together an 8-bit makeover of Mean Girls. You can watch that clip here
