Some of Jimmy Kimmel’s best workhas come from his delightfully simple “Mean Tweets” segment, and it isn’t hard to understand why. There’s something about Twitter that instantly makes it sound so stupid when you read a person’s tweet out loud.
When it’s an insult hurled at a famous person it sounds even more ridiculous, or sometimes just flat out doesn’t make sense. With the NBA season wrapping up last night, we got a chance to say goodbye to some of our favorite professional basketball players by hearing them read the horrible tweets sent their way.
