On Thursday, June 19, Complex hosted a party with Miller Fortune at the Cafeina Wynwood Lounge in Miami that included a one-of-a-kind performance from singer/songwriter Jhené Aiko. A prodigy in the hip-hop and R&B space, part of Jhené’s allure is her penchant for making bold moves and experimenting with different musical styles.
Her highly anticipated Miami appearance began with a line of fans down the block, and about 400 attendees inside enjoying Miller Fortune and a DJ set from Miami’s own DJ DZA—which provided the perfect prelude to Jhené’s acoustic performance. Accompanied by a single guitar, Jhené performed songs from her upcoming album, Souled Out, including fan favorite “The Worst,” which had the crowd singing along.
