Last week, Jeremy Meeks became every woman's felonious bae when his mugshot went viral. Considering the circumstances (Meeks was arraigned on charges for 11 felonies last week), one person in particular isn't happy about the situation: his wife.

According to CBS Sacramento, a friend of Meeks' wife said the woman is "furious." "Her man is in there and people are taking it as a joke, thinking it’s funny talking about his looks, saying all kinds of crazy things," Simone Johnson revealed.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the 30-year-old was charged for illegal possession of a firearm, gang activity and violating his parole after being stopped in Stockton, Calif last Thursday. He became a household name after his mugshot—which, at this point, he could autograph, sign, present to women, and have them pass out—was added to the Stockton Police Department's Facebook page.

Lusting over this liteskin felon ain't gonna be funny when ur pastor works "Jeremy Meeks inherit the earth" into his Sunday sermon
URGENT: anyone in possession of a Jeremy Meeks aka "Hot Convict" sex tape please upload to Pornhub ASAP!
I literally don't care about anything that's not the Jeremy Meeks' mug shot.

Meeks served two years at a state prison following a 2002 grand theft auto conviction. He insists that his past mistakes are not indicative of his character. "I just want them to know that this is really not like me, I’m not some kingpin," he told Sacramento's KXTV, noting that he's "[done] some things in his past he is not proud of."

Lusting after criminals is nothing new. Ted Bundy had groupies, and both Erik and Lyle Menendez got married while incarcerated. Shit, some women would still tattoo Aaron Hernandez's name in places that don't see the light of day. But while Meeks may seem "dreamy" to some, his current situation is not only a nightmare for him, but his entire family.

This is real life, y'all.
