At long last, Daredevil’s Matt Murdock has found a best friend. The role of Foggy Nelson will be played on the show by Elden Henson, a name that may sound vaguely familiar.
You might remember Hensonfrom his younger days as Fulton Reed, crushing slapshots with Charlie Conway and Co. in the Mighty Ducks franchise. He’ll also be playing Pollux, the silent cameraman who films propaganda movies for the rebels in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.
Netflix describes his role on Daredevil this way: “In a town full of crime and corruption, Foggy’s friendship to the community and passion for improving it have made him a friend to its many residents from all walks of life.”
Sounds like kind of a do-good square to us, but we’ll have to wait until Daredevil premieres next year to know for certain.
