Harley-Davidson Made an Electric Motorcycle That Sounds Like a 'Star Wars' Speeder Bike

Harley-Davidson is going against the grain and is showing off an electric motorcycle that could change the game.

Times are changing, but the classics are holding on.

Harley-Davidson has just took the wraps off of an electric motorcycle that may one day be mass produced, that's if people are interested enough. And no, this isn't the equivalent of a motorcycle Prius: the thing looks good. The only downside, if you could call it that, is that the loud rumble of the exhaust is now gone, instead replaced by a futuristic "zoom" that sounds eerily similar to the speeder bikes in Star Wars. The bike, called Project LiveWire, is going across 30 cities in the coming months, so the company can see how interested people are in the bike (since, yeah, this is pretty different from what traditional bikers are used to buying.) 

If Tesla is pushing the bar for electric cars, then it looks like Harley-Davidson has the chance to do it for motorcycles.
