Future's End has kept up a pacing in line with the talents of the assembled scribes even if the still-expanding cast of characters threatens to buckle the time-hopping narrative. We've already seen the official introduction of Batman Beyond's Terry McGinnis into the New 52 continuity and his mission to travel back in time to prevent Brother Eye from assimilating every superhero into a cybernetic hive insect. While parts of the story can come across as a protracted and unwieldy What If? story, we're still on board.
