A defense attorney was fatally shot outside of his office in a small Kentucky town today, authorities say.
The Associated Press reports that 57-year-old Mark Stanziano died after being shot several times around 8 a.m. this morning in front of his Somerset, Kent. law office. The suspect, 40-year-old Clinton D. Inabnitt, has been taken into custody by Somerset police.
According to the Associated Press, Inabnitt, a Somerset resident, had previous threatened Stanziano. The two had reportedly been in contact as recently as yesterday evening.
