A deer who should probably switch to decaf smashed through the window of a New York coffee shop earlier this week.
Around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, the deer exploded through the glass front door of Hudson Coffee Traders in Kingston, N.Y., startling employees and customers. "As soon as it happened, I was in shock," worker Jenna Shaffer told the Herald Record.
The doe took refuge in the shop's rear until both animal control and Kingston police arrived to safely remove her. Police told the Herald Record the deer was placed in the back of a patrol truck and returned to her natural habitat.
