Maybe you didn't catch Cam Gigandet in Twilight, but if you were cool in high school you certaintly followed his story on The O.C. He was the jerk surfer who had a multi-episode romance with Mischa Barton shortly before her uh, spoiler-free, departure from the show. That's why this stings so bad: In an interview with Elle Magazine, Gigandet was asked about working with Barton. He responded, "Mischa? I didn’t really … Was she there? I don’t even have memories of her."
Ice cold dude. You cheated on her at prom! And stole the prom party money! And then, worst of all, your character was the one driving. You were the one driving! And you don't remember her?
What about the other cast members? According to Gigandet, Ben McKenzie was "kind of mean," and "a little bit of an ass." He went on to say that working with them was frustrating, they wouldn't remember their lines on purpose, and that they “were f***ing miserable”.
Of course, this all comes at a time where Gigandet is promoting his new CBS legal drama, Reckless. A little real life drama always boosts the numbers.
