There’s already been a lot of consternation about the decision to make Ben Affleck the new Batman, and while people seem to be more receptive to it now, there hasn’t been a groundswell of support for more Batman beyond the already-announced Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Justice League.

Well, even if you didn’t need more Affleck, it sounds like that’s exactly what you’ll be getting.

According to Latino Review, Warner Bros. would like to release a standalone Batman movie in 2019 starring Affleck, and have even tentatively titled the film The Batman. They would like Affleck to direct this hypothetical movie as well, given his success with Argo.

No word on whether Batman would rock the full-on late-70s beard or have a thick Boston accent, but we’re guessing that if Affleck has his way, both would be on the table.

Given how far away we are from 2019, this is little more than a rumor at this stage. However, consider yourself warned.
