A kid's first summer camp experience is always exciting. There are the sights, the sounds, and, of course, the smells that always stand out. 

With her son making his very first trip away from home for an extended period of time, blogger Liesl Testwuide decided to write letters to him. He wrote back, spinning tales of "diyareeya" and near-record consumption of push-pops. 

The only thing more invigorating than this humorous, innocent, phonetic spelling of diarrhea is an account of steaming piles of horse feces:

I went horseback riding and the horse in front of me took 3 huge dumps. Smoke came off the poop. It was awesome.

That's what camp is all about.
