Rumors of a premium Samsung Galaxy S5 have abounded, though the company has yet to confirm its existence. Today, yet another report suggests that the so-called S5 Prime could be launched as early as June.

According to CNET, which cited a "source out of Korea," the smartphone could be revealed in the next few weeks, in time for a June release to compete with LG's May 27 announcement of its own new flagship device. The S5 Prime is expected to have a metal chassis and a higher-resolution display of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It's expected to run on Qualcomm's powerhouse of a processor, the quadcore Snapdragon 805.

It seems promising, if anything.
