HBO may be giving us a rapture-based series already (The Leftovers), but that doesn’t mean we also can’t have a rapture-themed movie. And who better to star than Nicolas Cage, the man of many screams and laughs?
Left Behind features Cage as Rayford Steele, a sinning airline pilot who is one of the many who remains after the Rapture. According to the books, he is part of the group destined to fight the Antichrist.
Sounds weird, and kind of awesome.
