Tablets have been getting smaller as smartphones have been getting larger; consider the iPad mini and Galaxy Note series, for instance. But it looks like Samsung could be preparing to buck the trend with the release of a 13.3-inch tablet.
According to a GSMArena report citing an "inside contact," the Korean giant has plans to add a 13.3-inch tablet with an impressive 2,560x1,600 pixel LCD screen to its line of Tab-branded slates. The device could be accompanied by the launch of 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch versions, with those two possibly featuring AMOLED displays.
It'd certainly be a risky move for Samsung given current consumer trends, but the device could find some success as a professional tablet, if anything.
